But now McGowan is praising Streep for her response to the Weinstein allegations. In a now-deleted tweet, McGowan addressed Streep by saying, "YOUR SILENCE is THE problem. You'll accept a fake award breathlessly & affect no real change. I despise your hypocrisy.
