A crocodile weighing 300-kilogram was found dead in Vishwamitri River in Gujarat’s Vadodara on Tuesday. The crocodile’s body was later sent for postmortem. The cause of the death has not been ascertained yet. After the body of the huge crocodile was found there is panic among the locals. Meanwhile the body of the crocodile is sent for medical examination to determine the nature of its death. Crocodiles share an ancient relation with India. They are depicted along with many Hindu gods and goddesses in sculpture and painting. In the pre-historic period, seven species resided in India. Watch this video to know more about the news.
