Toulouse dominated their Matchday 23 game against Troyes to momentarily leapfrog Lille into 18th place. The home side were a man and a goal up inside eleven minutes, Yaya Sanogo being fouled barely three minutes in by last man Jimmy Giraudon. The former Arsenal player then turned in a cross after a fine flowing move to give TFC the lead. They would keep that margin for the rest of the game, Toulouse dominating proceedings and only being denied a second by the excellent Erwin Zelazny.
