Whitney had set goals for the 2016 Level 8 Georgia State Gymnastics Meet. The goals were to score an all around score of 38 or better, to win the all around title, and to make the state team representing Georgia at the Region 8 Regional State Team Competition. Unfortunately, Whitney did not accomplish any of these goals. There were just little things here and there that did not go the way Whitney had planned. These are the little things that happen to every gymnast. Whitney learned a lot at this competition and will be able to use the experience to get better. \r

But…Whitney did do great! She performed her first Yurchenko vault in competition which was not too bad. And beside small hiccups on beam and bars, Whitney was nearly perfect. Whitneys floor routine was also great! As luck would have it though, when we downloaded all the video from the meet…the floor routine footage was missing…bummer. Be sure to check out Whitney as she gets ready and competes at the upcoming USA Gymnastics Region 8 Regional Competition.\r
