Tonya Harding was nasty to Nancy Kerrigan when the two were just teenagers practicing on the ice, her former childhood friend exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com.

Jenna Halase, of Portland, Oregon claims she was Harding's "best friend" during their high school days up to just a few months before Kerrigan's infamous 1994 attack, when Harding's ex husband Jeff Gillooly hired men to injure Kerrigan's knee days before the Olympic trials.

Halase told Radar she went to Harding's practices "quite a bit" when they were teens. During these practices, Halase claims to have met Kerrigan once, but never hung out with her due to Kerrigan and Harding's competitiveness.

"It was more of a 'I have to tolerate you because you're on the ice with me' friendship," Halase said of Harding and Kerrigan. "It was very cold yet cordial. But Tonya hated Nancy."

The former friend alleged that Harding did not hide her competitive nature. The former figure skater went out of her way to taunt Kerrigan on the ice, Halase said.

"She would walk up to girls, including Nancy and say, 'I'm prettier than you. What can you do? You can't even land a triple,'" Halase alleged to Radar.

Halase said Harding and Kerrigan often were scheduled to practice at the same time, which really irked Harding.

"If Nancy would cross her path by accident, Tonya would literally ice hockey stop, turn around with the dirtiest look and scream, 'What is wrong with you? I'm such a better skater than you! Sit down, get off the ice! This is my time on the ice!"

Kerrigan wasn't the only one who was at the receiving end of Harding's anger. Harding also schemed to sabotage Kristi Yamaguchi, Radar reported.

Harding created a lot of buzz in the last year after the movie I, Tonya was released in December 2017. In the ABC News special Truth and Lies: The Tonya Harding Story, the disgraced Olympic figure skater confessed to knowing about her ex-husband Jeff Gillooly's devious plan to hurt Kerrigan.

Halase told Radar that Harding has many fooled - and stressed that she wants the truth about her old friend to come out.

"Tonya's trying to make it seem like her and Nancy were friends," said Halase. "I want people to know this is the real Tonya. Stop showing her empathy."

A rep for Harding did not respond to Radar's calls for comment.
