A group of miscreants protesting against release of movie Padmaavat created ruckus near malls by vandalizing shops and setting vehicles ablaze in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad on Tuesday. The police fired two shots in the air to disperse the agitated crowd from the area. The mob is suspected to be members of Rajput Karni Sena and other Rajput caste groups. A mall manager said that despite Gujarat’s film association decision of not screening the movie, the protestors didn’t hold back from ruckus. The police detained at least 15 miscreants who were caught red handed vandalising malls and setting vehicle ablaze near malls after a violent protest against the release of movie Padmaavat.
