The UK has experienced a cold start to 2018, but that did not not deter one swimmer from taking the plunge into a frozen Loch Glascarnoch in Scotland on January 20.

Norman Todd, a notable Highland swimmer from Ullapool, was filmed by Steven Gourlay wading into the frozen loch wearing only shorts, goggles and a swimming cap.
