CHICAGO — A woman with a history of sneaking onto planes without a ticket has been caught yet again — though not before flying all the way across the pond.
The Chicago Tribune reports that serial stowaway Marilyn Hartman has been arrested several times since 2014 for attempting to hitch free plane rides.
In her latest stunt, the 66-year-old hid behind her hair and snuck past two TSA agents who were checking boarding passes at Chicago's O'Hare airport.
She tried to board a plane to Connecticut, but was turned away by the gate agent.
Undeterred, Hartman took a shuttle to the international terminal, where she stayed overnight.
The next morning, she blended in with a large group of passengers and successfully got past a gate agent and a CBP officer, making it onto a flight bound for London.
The crafty criminal initially hid in the plane's bathroom, but later walked out and found an empty seat. She eventually was busted at Heathrow when she was unable to present a passport.
Hartman was put on a flight and sent straight back to Chicago. She's now being held on a $25,000 bond, and has to wear an ankle monitor to keep her away from any airports.
