The Australian open is one of Australias premier sporting events as many of the worlds most famous tennis stars come to Melbourne and play a couple of games. However as per usual Im more interested in the transport & logistics behind the event. \r

In this video we therefore see some trams running tennis shuttles at various locations between Flinders Street & Melbourne Park. Much of the trams seen are B2 Classes but we so see a number of E Class trams. The shuttles were the first time that the new trams operated outside route 96 in revenue service. \r

We also see a couple of other trams on Flinders Street including W Classes and we also see a couple of passing buses and trains. \r
