The Congress has gained upper hand in Raghogarh Municipal Council elections in Madhya Pradesh, bagging a staggering 20 of the 24 seats and decimating the Opposition. The BJP has bagged four wards. The Congress has been in control of the Raghogarh-Vijaypur Municipal Council for the past two decades. A total of 20 municipal bodies including Nagar Palika Parishads and Nagar Parishads, went to polls and bypolls in 10 districts of Madhya Pradesh. Voting was held on January 17.
