So it’s no surprise that Barack Obama chose to mark Michelle’s birthday by writing an adorable love letter to his ‘best friend
The former first lady turned 54 on Wednesday, and of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without the couple declaring their love for each other. The ex-president posted a photo on Instagram showing him gazing lovingly at Michelle, and added a trademark heartfelt caption. He wrote: ‘You’re not only my wife and the mother of my children, you’re my best friend.
‘I love your strength, your grace, and your determination. And I love you more each day. Happy Birthday, @MichelleObama.’ Michelle then posted her own photos, showing a birthday card addressed to ‘Miche’ and some flowers, courtesy of her husband. What a charmer. She replied: ‘Thank you @BarackObama for the beautiful flowers waiting for me in the office this morning.
