The United Kingdom has voted in a historic referendum to leave the European Union, the BBC projects, marking a historic decision that will rock the 28-member bloc and has caused financial markets worldwide to plummet. With 307 out of 382 counting areas reporting, Leave led the results with 51.7 percent, against 48.3 percent for remain.
