70th Army Day of India is today. Let us tell you that whole India is celebrating its Army day, every year, on January 15 this year, Lieutenant General K. M. Cariappa is celebrated in the honor of assuming the charge of the top commander of Indian Army. He assumed his office on 15 January 1949 with the last British Chief of the Indian Army, General Roy Butcher, during the British Raj period. On the occasion of 70th Army Day, Army Chief, Bipin Rawat, visited the Cantt Parade Ground parade of Delhi on this day to be celebrated in honor of India's first Army Chief, General KM Kariyappa, and the Army jawans were awarded medal. On this occasion, the Army chief targeted Pakistan very much.

आज भारत का 70वां सैन्य दिवस है। आपको बता दे कि पूरा भारत अपना सैन्य दिवस मना रहा है, हर साल ये दिन 15 जनवरी को लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल के. एम. करियप्पा के भारतीय थल सेना के शीर्ष कमांडर का पदभार ग्रहण करने के उपलक्ष्य में मनाया जाता है। उन्होंने 15 जनवरी 1949 को ब्रिटिश राज के समय के भारतीय सेना के अंतिम अंग्रेज शीर्ष कमांडर जनरल रॉय बुचर से यह पदभार ग्रहण किया था। 70वें सेना दिवस के मौके पर थलसेना अध्यक्ष बिपिन रावत ने भारत के पहले सेना प्रमुख जनरल केएम करिअप्पा के सम्मान में मनाये जाने वाले इस दिवस पर दिल्ली के कैंट परेड ग्राउंड परेड का मुआयना किया और सेना के जवानों मेडल से सम्मानित किया। इस मौके पर सेना प्रमुख ने पाकिस्तान पर जमकर निशाना साधा ।
