How to make Monte Cristo sandwich Recipe.

“ENJOY YOUR BRUNCH”

INGREDIENTS ( for 1 person)

MEAT:
1 small piece chicken. (boneless).
(cut some small pieces from that small piece of chicken).

PRODUCE:

2 – fresh tomato slices.
1 tbsp – fresh shredded cabbage.

CONDIMENTS:
Salt as per taste.
½ tsp – pepper.
(to sprinkle on it).

DAIRY:
1 – cheese.
( small cube).
(chopped, sliced, diced- any type).

PASTA & GRAINS:
2 slices of bread.
(whole wheat/white bread/multigrain – any of your choice).
(I prefer go for white bread – it taste best for the recipe).

HERBS & SPICES:
½ tsp. –red chilli powder.

OIL & VINEGARS:
3 tsp – Olive oil.



STEP BY STEP:
-In a bowl.
-add chicken pieces.
-add salt & pepper.
-add chilli powder too.
-mix well & keep aside.
-On a Grilling Pan,
-pour little oil.
-let the pan get heated for a minute.
-then keep the flame high to medium.
-put chicken pieces on the pan.
-wait for 2 minutes then flip the pieces.
-now add tomato slices.
-add shredded cabbage.
-add 2 bread slices. (as shown in the video).
-for 2 minutes keep the pan tilting left to right and vice versa (refer the video) so as oil gets everywhere that will result in better grilling and making the tomatoes more juicier, chicken more crunchy and cabbage more soft.
-now flip the bread and tomatoes so as both the side can grill well.
-spread cheese slices on the bread.
-now add tomatoes, cabbage and chicken to the bread.
-add some more cheese on it and then cover it with another bread.
-press hard and don’t forget to slightly tliting the pan left to right whiling doing so.
-so as the bread get crunchy little from outside and softer inside.
-don’t take more than two minutes.
-flip the whole sandwich and grill the other side.
- you can see the golden brown colour on the bread.
-place it on the flat surface.
-cut it diagonally and serve, you can go with the tomatao sauce but trust me you won’t need. ;)
