Staff at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens released a manatee back into the wild following a successful two-month rehab stint at the zoo.

The manatee, named Carolina, was part of a group of more than ten manatees rescued from cold waters in South Carolina on November 28 and relocated to Florida. The zoo decided to keep Carolina in care after she showed “significant symptoms of being cold-stressed.”

A clip of Carolina’s release shared to the zoo’s Facebook page earned more than 3,300 views at time of writing. Credit: Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens via Storyful
