India lost their big wicket post lunch session as Philanders dismissed Cheteshwar Pujara. Pujara was caught in the 2nd slips on the bowling of Philanders. Before lunch it was Rabada who dismissed Rohit Sharma for 11 runs. Rohit could only score 11 before his departure and left the side struggling at 57/4 on the second day of the first test between India and South Africa. By the end of the 1st day India lost 3 of their batsman on low scores.
