This is a mother and daughter duet singing some of the classic songs from Studio Ghibli at J Pop Summit 2017.
Inoue Azumi made her debut in 1983, gained notice as the singer of the end song for Laputa: Castle In The Sky with "Carrying You." Then as singer of many early Studio Ghibli movies, she's also known for memorial songs featured in Ghibli films such as My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service. Much to everybody's joy outside Japan, she also does theme songs for local authorities and school textbooks in Japan.
Yuyu's is Inoue's daughter who made her debut at age 7 for NHK's Minna No Uta and made both the collaborations with Watanabe Flower and duet with her mother.
