'Video Gaming Disorder' to be recognised as mental health condition by WHO

The WHO added "gaming disorder" to a beta draft of its International Classification of Diseases (ICD). This is the first update to the manual since the 1990's. Gaming disorder includes symptoms of constant gaming without being able to control it, prioritizing gaming, and ignoring negative consequences related to the behavior.
