Hiroshi Tanahashi (棚橋 弘至 Tanahashi Hiroshi, born November 13, 1976) is a Japanese professional wrestler who works primarily for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is currently in his second reign as the IWGP Intercontinental Champion, while also being a former seven-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, two-time IWGP Tag Team Champion and three-time NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion. Through NJPW's working agreements with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Pro Wrestling Noah, Tanahashi has also held the CMLL World Tag Team Championship, the CMLL World Trios Championship, the CMLL Universal Championship and the GHC Tag Team Championship. Tanahashi holds the record for most reigns as the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, while his fifth reign holds the record for most successful defenses, with eleven. He has also won NJPW's premier tournament, the G1 Climax, on two occasions (2007 and 2015).

Shinsuke Nakamura (中邑 真輔 Nakamura Shinsuke, born February 24, 1980) is a Japanese professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist currently signed to WWE, performing on the SmackDown brand. He is best known for his work in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a former three-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, five-time IWGP Intercontinental Champion, one-time IWGP Tag Team Champion, and the winner of the 2011 G1 Climax, 2006 G1 Tag League, and 2014 New Japan Cup tournaments. Nakamura is the youngest IWGP Heavyweight Champion in history, having won the title for the first time at the age of 23 years and 9 months

José Alberto Rodríguez (born May 25, 1977), is a Mexican professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist currently signed to Impact Wrestling under the ring name Alberto El Patrón. He also competes for various promotions on the international independent circuit. He is best known for his two tenures in WWE under the ring name Alberto Del Rio. Before working for WWE, Rodríguez used the name Dos Caras Jr. as both a mixed martial artist and luchador in mostly Mexico and Japan, achieving success in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) by winning the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship once. Rodríguez signed with WWE in 2009 and made his debut on their main roster the following year as Alberto Del Rio. In WWE, he won the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship twice each. He also won the 2011 Royal Rumble and the 2011 Money in the Bank ladder match, making him the only professional wrestler to win both in the same calendar year.

José Casas Ruiz (born January 10, 1960) is a Mexican professional wrestler (called a Luchador in Spanish) and trainer working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) under the ring name Negro Casas. He is the son of former wrestler turned referee Pepe Casas, and part of the large Casas wrestling family; brother of professional wrestlers El Felino and Heavy Metal and uncle of Puma, Tiger, Canelo Casas, Rocky Casas, Danny Casas and many more. Casas has trained several wrestlers, including Mephisto, Kazushige Nosawa, T.J. Perkins, Rocky Romero, and Ricky Marvin. Casas has worked all over the world, making appearances for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in the United States of America as well as touring with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) in Japan for over a decade.
