Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said the results in the Gujarat assembly polls had given a massive jolt to the BJP, as it is a clear signal that their political propaganda is no longer working on the people. "BJP has received a tremendous blow in Gujarat. PM Modi keeps trotting out the party line but the people of the country are no longer listening," Rahul told reporters. "I got to know that people in Gujarat do not approve of Modi ji's model, the marketing and propaganda is very good but it is hollow from the inside, they could not answer our campaign," he said.

कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने गुजरात विधानसभा चुनाव के परिणामों पर आज संतोष व्यक्त किया लेकिन कहा कि इस चुनाव के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के दावों की पोल खुल गई है और भ्रष्टाचार को लेकर उनकी विश्वसनीयता सवालों के घेरे में आ गयी है। गांधी ने संसद भवन परिसर में संवाददाताओं से कहा कि मोदी हमेशा और लगातार भ्रष्टाचार की बात करते रहे हैं लेकिन गुजरात विधानसभा चुनाव के दौरान जब उनसे राफेल रक्षा सौदे में गड़बड़ी, भाजपा के अध्यक्ष अमित शाह के पुत्र जय शाह की कंपनी के कम समय में हजारों गुणा लाभ कमाने जैसे भ्रष्टाचार से जुड़े सवाल किए गये तो मोदी ने चुप्पी साधे रखी और यह चुप्पी उनकी विश्वसनीयता पर सवाल खड़ा करती है।
