Japanese automaker Mitsubishi is all set to introduce the new Outlander in the Indian market. The new crossover is already listed on the official website for quite some time. Now, Autocar India reports that the new Mitsubishi Outlander will be launched in the Indian market by May 2018, with the bookings starting in January or February 2018.

The new Mitsubishi Outlander will be a petrol-only model, at least during the launch. The company might add the diesel model at a later stage. The new crossover will draw power from a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine producing 169bhp and 225Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a 6-step CVT gearbox.
