Brian Lalor, a 28 year old Laois native who now resides in the North Cork area has recently released his debut EP ‘Hand Full of Seeds’. This collection of songs has been described by some, as refreshing and honest. “Brian sings in an amazing lightly spoken tone, evoking an ability to tell his stories through song in true folk style”. With over a decade of experience writing, performing and recording music, covering everything from folk to metal to garage band, over the last two years, Brian has been busy writing his own material whilst also learning his stage-craft - this time without the comfort of sharing that load with other musicians.

The result of all this soul-searching and mining for musical gold has led to the already mentioned ‘Hand Full Of Seeds’, completely self-funded and recorded at Golden Egg Studios in the wilds of Portlaoise, it was producer Brian O’Mahoney who, having received a demo from Brian, suggested these songs really should be given the full studio production.
