From mid-November 2013 to the end of January over 75,000 votes were cast and the winner of National Geographic's prestigious People's Choice Adventurer of the Year has now been announced: Kilian Jornet.

Kilian beat a strong field of 12 other candidates that included the Canadian alpinists Raphael Slawinski and Ian Welsted and the Czech sports climbing champion Adam Ondra.

We bring you footage of possibly one of the most insane free solos ever performed, Alex Honnold on Sendero Luminoso, 5.12/7b+. Beautifully shot and directed by the Camp4Collective team, the film shows the beauty and danger involved in a climb like this...Directed by Renan Ozturk and filmed by Cedar Wright, without wanting to overuse the adjective, this film is EPIC!
