SpaceX and Budweiser are Sending Barley Seeds to Space in the Name of Science Budweiser and SpaceX have teamed up to send barley seeds on a round trip to space to determine the impact of micro-gravity on the seeds. The seeds will stop at the International Space Station and remain there for a month as part of SpaceX's partnership with NASA, which is meant to discover more about crops and how to improve their growth on Earth. By specifically sending barley seeds, Budweiser is also taking the first steps to brewing beer in space. Ricardo Marques, Budweiser's vice president of marketing told CNN
