The 1.23 billion ringgit intercity rail transit system project in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor is back on the government's radar, following the appointment of a permanent transport minister on Wednesday.

Masteel CEO and Managing Director, Datuk Seri Tai Hean Leng Expects the approval process will now be expedited and the estimated project cost of 1.23 billion ringgit will remain.
