Honduran-Americans in New Orleans on December 3 participated in a call to protest put forth by Honduran opposition leader Salvador Nasralla, rallying on the street with signs, flags and pots and pans.
The protesters demonstrated against the reelection of Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez, “dictatorship,” and US military aid to Honduras.
Nasralla marched with his supporters in Tegucigalpa on December 3 “against fraud and for peace and justice in Honduras,” and against Hernandez.
Nasralla has “alleged fraud and said he won’t respect the official results” of the presidential election after a computer glitch shut down vote counting for several hours, according to reports. Credit: Instagram/Edwin Peralta via Storyful
