According to CNN, North Korea said on Saturday that President Trump is "begging for nuclear war."

North Korea issued a fiery statement on Saturday, with the country's foreign ministry spokesperson saying that President Trump is "begging for nuclear war."
CNN also quotes the spokesperson as stating that the president is "staging an extremely dangerous nuclear gamble on the Korean peninsula" and refers to Trump as a "nuclear demon."
The statement comes as the U.S.-South Korean forces are preparing to conduct a military drill starting Monday.
"About 12,000 U.S. personnel will participate with South Korean troops while 230 aircraft will be flown at eight U.S. and South Korean military installations," according to Reuters.
Amid rising tensions, Trump recently announced that the U.S. was adding North Korea back to the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
"In addition to threatening the world by nuclear devastation, North Korea has repeatedly supported acts of international terrorism, including assassinations on foreign soil," the president said, while making the announcement.
In response, North Korea denied that it has engaged in any terrorism-related activity and called the move "a serious provocation and a violent infringement."
