Former national security adviser Michael Flynn has been charged with making false statements to federal authorities.
The charges stem from Flynn's testimony with FBI investigators regarding conversations late last year with a Russian diplomat.
During a hearing at a federal courthouse in Washington D.C. on December 1, 2017, Flynn pleaded guilty to the charges.
