The White House is considering replacing Secretary of State Rex Tillerson with CIA Director Mike Pompeo. Multiple reports state that Pompeo would then be replaced by Arizona Senator Tom Cotton. Chief of Staff John Kelly has formulated the plan, according to The New York Times, and it will likely be put into effect late this year or early next year. Tillerson has seen his relationship with President Trump become fractured after the two have grappled with each other on how to negotiate with North Korea.
