Prime Minister Narendra Modi has firmly backed his government's decision to implement GST and Demonetisation. Modi said that the country was moving towards a corruption-free, citizen-centric and development-friendly era. Hitting out at those who are criticizing his government's initiative, Modi said all those people were unhappy, because for the first time after independence the corrupt are feeling the heat. Modi said he would continue to work towards changing the system, which was suffering from "policy paralysis" when BJP government took over.
