Gulf War Naval Ship Farewelled in Sydney Harbour

Naval vessel HMAS Darwin was decommissioned on Monday morning, November 27, after 35 years of service.

The guided missile frigate was used in the Middle East in Operation Slipper between 2002-2014 and Operation Manitou between 2014-2016.

It was a part of Australia’s Gulf War effort as part of Operation Damask.
