Police arrested a man in connection to the shooting death of Johnny Salafia at a Batemans Bay home on Thursday, November 23. It came four years after the murder in 2013, when Salafia was shot on the doorstep of his Kings Point home.

Police said they arrested a 42-year-old member of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang at Surfside at about 6am. He will be charged with murder.

According to the Narooma News, the victim had just put his daughters to bed when he opened the front door to someone he appeared to know, before being shot twice. He had been a member of the outlaw motorcycle gang for a short time, according to his family, Fairfax Media reported. Credit: NSW Police Force via Storyful
