Volunteers put 1,200 native trees in the ground as part of the effort to return the sprawling eastern New Orleans attraction to its proper place as a treasured green space for family recreation and environmental education. The Audubon Nature Institute offices are located at 6500 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70118.
