Della Reese, well known for her role as Tess on "Touched by an Angel," passed away Sunday night at 86. Roma Downey told PEOPLE Reese's manager, Lynda Bensky, didn't specify on cause of death, but told the New York Times she had diabetes. "Touched by an Angel" was one of prime time’s top-rated shows between 1996-2000. Reese leaves behind three children, as well as her husband Franklin Lett.
