Selena Gomez has been applauded for giving her first performance at the 2017 American Music Awards since undergoing a kidney transplant earlier this year…

But some people weren’t happy.

The internet went into a frenzy and called her out for allegedly lip-synching her when she took the stage.

The 25 year old performed her latest single, Wolves, and we think it was a pretty good choice… since there’s nothing but wolves out there.

They took to Twitter to say the show was great until Selena came on…

Or they complained that her backup vocals were too loud.

Luckily she had plenty of fans to clap back at the haters and remind people that she just had major surgery and is already back on stage.

Later in the night Selena thanked her fans for supporting her performance and she thanked her best friend for bringing her back to life.

She did not publicly address the lip-synching rumors.
