In the latest happening that adds to Padmavati controversy, Viacom18 Motion Pictures, the studio behind Sanjay Leela Bansali's Padmavati , has now voluntarily postpones the release date of the film from December 1st 2017. They released the official statement in this regard on Sunday. They said- its respect and regard for the law of the land and all our institutions and statutory bodies including the Central Board of Film Certification.
