ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Best described as a tingling sensation in the scalp, which permeates throughout the spine and back, ASMR is a pleasurable, if not euphoric, sensation. ASMR is an uncontrollable, visceral reion. The same way one might get shivers at the sound of nails on a chalkboard, those with ASMR get tingles at the sounds of Whispering, Tapping Sounds, Crinkling Sounds, Personal Attention, and watching someone focus on a task. I hope this helps explain ASMR, at least in the most rudimentary sense. For more, check out my main site and Subscribe to my videos. Thanks.
