Syrian government forces attacked several areas in the East Ghouta region of Damascus province on November 18, killing and injuring civilians.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 110 people were killed in a 24-hour period in East Ghouta as fighting between Islamic factions and the Syrian government intensified.
