Finally I haveone Chuggington Dark Side. This traintastic knock off train playset is built for speed and thrills. In f its a train set in roller coaster design. This toy is available in three charer designs, Brewster, Koko and Wilson The size of each train is very similar to the Chuggington Interive toy trains. These clone train sets are very unusual because they are surprisingly well made and have great detailing, which is not often seen on knock off toys. The train track system is the same as a roller coaster and the trains have wheels which clip onto the track. Each playset has a basic layout with one loop, but by bringing all three together I can make a mega 3 loop roller coaster toy train playset. When the trains are turned on the ion becomes hard, fast and dangerous.\r

Like so many knock off toys the box artwork has some strange info and pictures, but what surprised me was what came out of the box was quite impressive. The brightly coloured train track and robust design is something I never expected. But as I found out the Dark Side is always there and this toy has loads of design flaws. These toys lack the safety features which are designed into the licensed Chuggington toys. Because this is an impressive large and very fast train set I have some amazing video footage of it in ion. Mounting a GoPro onto the train I was able to get some roller coaster cam of the trains in ion, there is even some slowmo. And sure there are crashes and accidents along the way.\r

In the same Dark Side market where I found these Chuggington trains I also found three Thomas And Friends train playsets. This is a design I am not familiar with and the boxes are written in Japanese. Finding this Thomas The Tank train set was a real surprise and its a beautiful toy, but is it a licensed toy or a very clever knock off?\r
