Dandruff which is also known as seborrheic dermatitis is a common scalp disorder, which is used to increase in winter season. It can occur due to dry skin, growth of bacteria and fungus on the scalp, inflammatory skin conditions and like many other reasons. Regard less of the reason, it is irritating and create itchiness.
In this video we are sharing some easy and cheap homemade methods to control dandruff.

1. Baking soda:
Baking soda helps remove dead skin cells and absorbs excess oil. It can also help balance pH levels on the scalp and reduce the growth of fungi that cause dandruff.
Wet your hairs and rub a handful of baking soda onto your scalp. After a couple of minutes, rinse your hair well only with warm water, without shampoo.
Repeat once or twice a week for a few weeks.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural hair clarifier and helps clean clogged pores and hair follicles and also restores the pH balance of the scalp.
For this remedy first of all mix a quarter cup apple cider vinegar with a quarter cup water and massage this mixture on the scalp, then cover your head with shower cap or towel and let sit for 15 to 60 minutes, then wash your hair as usual.
Repeat this process twice a week.

3. Coconut oil:
Coconut oil helps eliminate dandruff due to its antifungal properties. It also moisturizes dry scalp and provides relief from itching.
Take 3 to 5 tablespoons of coconut oil and massage into the scalp and let it sit for an hour, then wash your hair with shampoo. Repeat this process frequently to get results fast.

4. Lemon and yogurt:
Lemon juice contains acids that are good against fungi that can cause dandruff. It also helps relieve itching on the scalp.
For this method mix 2 tablespoon of lemon juice in one quarter cup of plain yogurt and apply it on your hair and scalp. Leave it on for about 20 minutes before rinsing it off and shampooing your hair.

5. Aloe Vera:
Aloe Vera is the best solution of head itching because of its cooling effects.
For this method take a small cup of Aloe Vera gel and massage it into your scalp and leave it for some time and the wash your hairs with shampoo.
Repeat this process twice a week for better results

6. Garlic and Honey:
Garlic eliminates dandruff causing bacteria because of its antimicrobial properties.
For this method crush garlic and mix it with honey and then massage this mixture into the scalp and let it work for 30 minutes and then wash your hair with regular shampoo.
Repeat this process twice a week until the desired results are achieved.

7. Olive:
Olive Oil is another great cure for dandruff.
Massage about 10 drops into your scalp and cover with a shower cap or towel overnight and wash hairs with shampoo in the morning.
For a quicker cure, repeat this process daily.
