A multi-agency police operation arrested two men at Dapto and Warrawong on November 10 on charges of importing $6.3 million (21kg) of cocaine from Spain.
A 35-year-old Lake Heights man and a 30-year-old Albion Park were charged with multiple drug offences.
Investigators from NSW police and Australian Border Force executed search warrants at homes at Lake Heights and Albion Park, and at a factory unit at Oak Flats, seizing a shortened .22 calibre rifle, ammunition, mobile phones, documents and drug paraphernalia.
During a search of the Albion Park man’s car, more than $125,000 cash and 66g of cocaine were discovered.
It was alleged the large shipment of drugs was found in a shipment of tiles from Spain on October 9. Credit: NSW Police Force via Storyful
