These cake balls pop very fast and are easy to make, popular for birthdays, children parties or for fans of the Marvel super heroes (part 1)\r
Ingredients:\r
1. cake ball baking kit which includes baking pans, silicon clips and 12 reusable plastic sticks \r
2. 1 box of chocolate cake mix\r
3. different color candy melts\r
4. different color writing icing\r
5. different color food decorating pens AmeriColor\r
6. toothpicks, baking spray\r
7. Styrofoam or floral block\r
Method:\r
1. Make cake batter with one standard box of cake mix (I use chocolate cake mix) according to directions. For best baking results: use an extra egg, substitute milk\r
for water and use half as much as the recipe calls for.\r
2. Spray both the bottom and the top pan with baking spray include the holes on top tray as some cake batter may bake up through the holes and stick to the pan.\r
3. Start filling in the centre of pan and work your way out to the sides and spread around with a spatula.\r
4. Place top pan (with holes) on bottom pan and secure with clips.\r
5. Bake at 180C (350F) for 25-30 minutes.\r
6. Let pans cool before removing top pan (if any cake has baked through the holes simply scrape off before removing pan).\r
7.Remove bake pops from the oven and let them sit for 10 minutes. Shave bake pops with sharp knife to create the shape of a Lego head.\r
8.Melt small amount of candy melts (or melting chocolate) in the microwave. Dip the end of the Bake Pop Stick into coating, then insert into cake ball.\r
9. Place bake pop into freezer for 10 minutes or in the refrigerator until coating is hard.\r
10. Heat large batch of different candy melts in microwave and prepare your topping bowls.\r
11. Remove your bake pops from the refrigerator and dip bake pop in different candy melts, according your marvel super heroes. Put into Styrofoam, foam block (like a floral block) your bake pop to cool upright and harden (to speed up hardening process put bake pops in the refrigerator for 10 minutes).\r
12.When bake pops harden draw faces with different color edible food pens and apply different color writing icing for the rest of faces and for hair. To continue part 2 we will do cake balls star wars twistheads.
