Groups of protesters blocked roads in Barcelona and Tarragona on the morning of Monday, November 6, to demand the release of eight former ministers of the autonomous Catalan assembly who were arrested after the region declared independence.

Many of the road blocks lasted for only five minutes, according to Spanish media.
