Click to subscribe:   — I finally jumped into the 3D printer game with the insanely cheap ANET A8 Prusa i3 that I bought at Gearbest. I paid $170 for it and $45 for DHL Express shipping that got it to my door from China in 3 days!!! Blows my mind. This thing features a huge print plate that is 220mm x 220mm x 240mm and uses 1.75mm filament. Ive only printed PLA, but this can handle a bunch of different types of plastic. \r

After a few test prints, I went with a large print - a 180 quad frame. It turned out great, but needed a little trimming in spots to be able to access the USB on the flight controller without removing the top plate. I also opened the top plate motor holes because they were rubbing. Hopefully Ill have it out for its first flight very soon. If you are looking to get a 3D printer for RC parts, this is a steal of a deal. \r
