The Crime Syndicate are teams of fictional supervillains from one of DC Comics parallel universes, who are the evil counterparts of the Justice League of America. The original team was specifically known as Crime Syndicate of America and is sometimes abbreviated as CSA. This first superpowered Crime Syndicate team appeared in Justice League of America (vol. 1) #29 in August 1964. The primary successive incarnation, known as the Crime Syndicate of Amerika (with the variant spelling of America), first appeared in the 2000 JLA: Earth 2 graphic novel.\r

A related successive group on Earth-3 is known as the Crime Society of America and first appeared in 52 #52.\r

In The New 52, the Crime Syndicate is the Earth-3 counterpart of the Justice League, first appearing in Justice League #23 (October new).\r

Ultraman is an evil doppelgänger of Superman from an alternate universe. He is the de fo leader of the Crime Syndicate, a team of supervillains paralleling the Justice League. In The New 52 (a reboot of the DC Comics universe), Ultraman is one of the members of the Crime Syndicate to arrive from Earth-Three at the conclusion of the Trinity War event. This version of Ultraman is empowered by Kryptonite (and even snorts it like a drug) and is hurt by sunlight. He was responsible for murdering Monocle when he claimed that the Crime Syndicate was the Justice League in disguise.\r

Superwoman is an evil doppelganger of Wonder Woman from an alternate universe. She is a member of the Crime Syndicate, a team of super-villains paralleling the Justice League. Beginning in new comics, Superwoman is one of the members of the Crime Syndicate to arrive from Earth-3 at the conclusion of the Trinity War event. During the Forever Evil storyline, Superwoman and Owlman raid Arkham Asylum where they end up capturing Nightwing. During the Crime Syndicates broadcast, Superwoman reveals Nightwings identity on the broadcast. While Grid looks over the biographies of the other Syndicate members, he finds that while data on the other members are there, Superwomans were deleted, leaving her true past and identity still a total mystery. She is also pregnant, and engaging in affairs with both Owlman and Ultraman\r
