The second day of the timber framing workshop at Shelter Institute consisted of primarily learning how to sharpen our chisels, not just to the point where they were sharp, but to the point where they were razor sharp! We saw first hand that NO chisel comes truly sharp from the fory and that all require further sharpening. Never did we think wed spend over 8 hours sharpening chisels.\r
