Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Azizah Mohd Dun told the Dewan Rakyat today that there are a total of 64,894 households registered under the eKasih program that fall under the category of hardcore poverty.

She elaborated that among that total, 28,978 are located in urban areas and 35,916 are located in rural areas.

This was in response to a question about hardcore poverty and the groups that receive aid from the said ministry.
