Strong winds and heavy rain hit parts of the northeast US coast on Sunday, October 29, on the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Sandy.
Heavy rain fell across New Jersey on Sunday, with up to 20 towns and cities warned to expect flooding as a result, according to local reports.
The storm was in part being fed by moisture from Tropical Storm Philippe, which dissipated in the Atlantic after sweeping over southern Florida, according to Fox5. Eastern Pennsylvania, eastern New York state and New Hampshire also faced bad weather.
