In this part of the walkthrough I take on the most powerful boss in Final Fantasy IX, Ozma. As you know Ozma can be a bit of a pain, no matter how strong your party is he can decimate your entire party so there is a bit of a luck element involved.\r

Ozma as the following attacks:\r
1st) Lv5 Death: instant death to all charers with a level devisable by 5;\r
2nd) Death;\r
3rd) Lv4 Holy: inflicts holy damage to all charers with a level devisable by 4;\r
4th) Holy;\r
5th) Flare;\r
6th) Flare Star: deals damage based on the charers level;\r
7th) Doomsday: deals shadow damage to the entire party and Ozma;\r
8th) Meteor: deals random damage to the entire party and its possible that it can wipeout the entire party in a single turn;\r
9th) Curse: deals physical damage to all party members and inflicts numerous status ailments;\r
10th) Mini;\r
11th) Esuna;\r
12th) MP Absorb;\r
13th) Curaga;\r

There is a way to counter a few of them. Most guides will tell you that you shouldnt have a charer with a level divisible by 5 or 4 since Ozma will use Lv5 death and Lv4 Holy but I suggest otherwise..When you fight him have one charer (I recommend Zidane) with a level divisible by 5 and have at least one charer with a level divisible by 4. That way Ozma will waste a turn using Lv5 Death or Lv4 Holy which is its weakest spell and that can ually heal your party.\r

You can also protect yourself from Doomsday by equipping shadow element absorbing items: Zidane and Amarant should have a ninja gear equipped; Eiko, Dagger, Quina and Vivi should have a Pumice Piece equipped and Steiner and Freya should have Demons Mail equipped.\r

The abilities that you should equip are: Auto-Regen, Auto-Haste, Auto-Reflect, Antibody, Clear Headed and Bright Eyes.\r

Final Fantasy IXs plot centers on a war between nations. Players follow a young thief named Zidane Tribal, who joins with others to defeat Queen Brahne of Alexandria, the one responsible for starting the war. Final Fantasy IX was developed alongside Final Fantasy Vİ, but took a different approach by returning to the more traditional style of the early Final Fantasy games. Consequently, Final Fantasy IX was influenced significantly by the original Final Fantasy game, and features allusions to other titles in the . It was released to critical acclaim and holds the highest Metacritic score of all Final Fantasy installments.
