There's something about Saya. She's young and beautiful. She's also a CGI robot.

Saya is one of 83 finalists in Japan's annual Miss iD Beauty Pageant, where she's competing against human contestants. Saya was created by husband and wife CGI artists in 2015. The competition is about finding new, and slightly alternative, model talent.

And she's not the only AI contestant. Microsoft's Rinna is competing, too.

So, now the question is: does human beauty stand a chance when matched up against robots?
